“Keele Student Rooms” is a family run business, owned and managed by Tracy and Iain Finlay and supported by a dedicated team of personnel.
We have been in the lettings business for 10 years and we have expanded year on year currently letting out over 75 rooms. We are greatly experienced in this area as we are both landlords of our own properties and we also provide a lettings management service for other landlords. We are passionate about our business and aim to provide an exceptional service to all.
We are really proud of our reputation, please refer to our testimonials below to see comments. We aim to be best within the lettings business and provide the highest possible standards. The key to our success is to equally focus on our landlords and tenants.
We always feel that our current tenants are our best advert, so please use the opportunity when you view our properties to chat with our current tenants to see if they recommend us.
On a professional note, we are landlord accredited so all our properties meet the council standards. We are also active members of the National Landlord Association and the local North Staffs Landlord Association.
On a personal note, we are happily married with twin boys at high school, we live in the Newcastle area where we have lived for most of our lives.
We welcome you to visit our properties and will hopefully see you soon.

I rented this house over the summer and absolutely loved it- I had a huge bedroom which was a welcome change from halls! The biggest seller was definitely the kitchen – a pleasure to cook in every day. Tracy and Iain are really great landlords, friendly and easy going but if something goes wrong they’ll fall over themselves to fix it because they really care about their properties. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend- the rent is not the cheapest I have paid but really really worth it if you like space and a decent kitchen! – Rosie (KSU President 2011)
Iain and Tracy were fantastic landlords. Over my time at Keele I stayed in 3 of their properties, Elliot Street and both houses down Albert Street. The room’s were excellent value for money, the kitchens well equipped and the properties were professionally cleaned before we moved in and any minor issues were sorted immediately. I would say to any student looking for somewhere to stay whether it be for term time or for just in the summer, you will not find better landlords.
